Healthia Terms of Service
Most important note up front. Healthia is an AI companion supporting your daily routine. It is not a substitute for medical care. For any decisions about your health, please consult a doctor or pharmacist.
1. Acceptance
By installing, launching, or using the Healthia app you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service and uninstall the app.
2. Eligibility
- The service is intended for users 18 years or older.
- If you have a legal guardian, the guardian's consent may be required.
- You may not use the service where prohibited by applicable law.
3. Account
- Please provide accurate information at signup.
- Accounts are personal and may not be transferred or shared.
- You are responsible for the security of your credentials (password, verification codes). If you share with family, you do so at your own discretion.
- Suspected account compromise: contact support@healthia.app immediately.
4. Acceptable use
The following are prohibited:
- Illegal activity, infringement of others' rights, or input of obscene / violent content
- Unauthorized collection or misuse of other users' data
- Reverse engineering, security circumvention, or bot operation
- Commercial use without our written consent
5. Health information disclaimer
This service is not a medical service. Any health information, meal analysis, medication reminders, and mood monitoring provided by Healthia is for general informational purposes and does not replace diagnosis, treatment, or prescription by licensed healthcare professionals.
- Do not start or stop medications based on the service's responses.
- Always consult qualified healthcare providers for medical decisions.
- The service is not certified as a medical device by the FDA, KFDA, or any equivalent authority.
6. AI response limits
- The AI may produce inaccurate or hallucinated content.
- Verify important information before acting on it.
- You can review, edit, or delete what the AI has learned about you in Settings → What the AI has learned.
7. Emergencies
Healthia is not an emergency call service. In emergencies (severe pain, breathing difficulty, falls, self-harm risk) please call 911 (US) or your local emergency number immediately.
Family guidance (optional consent) is a supportive feature and does not guarantee emergency notification.
8. Family linking
- Family linking activates only after consent from both you and the family member.
- You may unlink at any time in Settings → Family linking.
- Family app users are bound by their own separate terms and privacy policy.
- If you lose your phone and device, you may pre-authorize a linked family member to recover your account at a new number after video identity verification. This consent is optional and expires automatically after three years.
9. Your content
- Content you provide (conversations, photos, records) belongs to you.
- You grant us a non-exclusive, revocable license to store, analyze, and display it as needed to operate the service.
- We do not use your content for advertising or external sale.
- Do not submit content that infringes third-party rights.
10. Intellectual property
All software, design, content, and trademarks of the service belong to us or our licensors. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or reverse engineering is prohibited.
11. Fees
- The service offers selected features free of charge.
- If paid subscriptions or one-time purchases are introduced, the checkout screen will display pricing, renewal, and refund terms and require separate consent.
- App Store and Play Store refund policies may take precedence.
12. Termination and account deletion
- You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. All data is removed within 30 days.
- We may suspend or terminate an account for violation of these terms, legal compliance, or service discontinuation, with prior notice where feasible.
- Certain records may be retained for statutory periods (see Privacy Policy).
13. Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided "AS IS". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our cumulative liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the prior 12 months for the service or USD 100, whichever is greater.
This section does not apply to death or personal injury, fraud, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be limited by applicable law.
15. Dispute resolution
US residents. You agree to resolve disputes by individual binding arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA). Class actions and class arbitrations are excluded. You may opt out of this arbitration provision by notifying us in writing within 30 days of accepting these terms.
Other residents. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive first-instance jurisdiction of the courts in our principal place of business, subject to mandatory consumer protection rights of your jurisdiction.
16. Governing law
US residents: California law. Other residents: mandatory consumer protections of your jurisdiction first, otherwise California law.
17. Changes
Material changes are notified in-app or by email at least 7 days before the effective date. Significant changes require separate consent. If you do not agree, you may delete your account.
